An insurance claim is a demand for payment in accordance with an insurance policy. This means that as the policy holder, if you have a policy that provides coverage for a particular loss and the loss occurs, then you are entitled to file an insurance claim. However, there are other claims such as claims for bodily injury in an automobile accident that are more complex and harder to handle.
