MEDICAL PAYMENTS COVERAGE

Most vehicle insurance coverage will pay up to certain limits for medical bills arising out of an accident regardless of who was at fault. Medical payments coverage is not mandatory however, and is not required to be on a policy. The following people are usually covered by medical payments provisions: You or any relative who lives with you when driving or riding in your insured vehicle or anyone else's vehicle; anyone else who is driving with your permission or riding in your insured vehicle; and anyone riding in someone else's vehicle while you or a covered relative is driving.
